    ChangeLog looks promising :). Anyone tried it? Any issues with rotation, wifi etc.? BTW I managed to patch rotation issue for CM7 build 182 with one update on AndroidPT.

    Wifi can't always keep connection..

    The most annoying bug is still not fixed (screen rotation bug)... but otherwise this build works well.

    initial review:

    1. no problems on my part everything working properly using mi-300
    2. at first it wont sync manually, after setting to autosync and reboot, sync works.
    3. quadrant score 952 using generic sd card
    4. plants vs zombies wont work without installing chainfire

    @robynstein - the changelog says the rotation bug has been fixed; but you say otherwise?! Well, if the screen rotation is not fixed, then I have to again follow this workaround http://www.ubiquitense.com/technology/plausible-solution-to-the-cm7-nightlies-screen-orientation-issue-upside-down-landscape/3110/ :( I hate fixing this issue again and again. So, will hold on for sometime before installing this EVA5

    @robynstein - Everything worked fine for me in one go. No problem with screen rotation or camera zoom. I never got results with the screen rotation possible solution mentioned above. You can try updating kernel with "kernel-fix-kalibrasi.zip". Google it. I think I found it on AndroidPT. That fixed the rotation problem for me with build 182. I am not sure if the ROM has fixed the rotation bug since I just updated from build 182. However yes the camera zoom is fixed. May be you can try with install from scratch. And it is pretty smooth :). Thanks to developers.

    @lovabllife2006 - no rotation issue if u flash nb0. Alternatively flash edgar 2.6.32.9. Ubuntu kernel. your rotaion prob will be fixed

    I am getting this error:

    error code: 0x4000

    error: task 2 of 2, restore phone data dail,
    error = device_not_configure ( 0x4000 )
    Init Mode = Emergency Download Mode

    Please help me on how I can fix this.

    It worked great on my phone and it is really amazing that a CM ROM can run this good. I usually experience annoying bugs with camera and wifi and I encounter less.

    3dyas using this ROM on Mi300
    everything ok ; camera/wifi/screen orientation
    battery also ok, can get 2days with lite wifi/camera/sms/call usage

    (before i get 3days battery life with phantom sky revo v1)

    Screen rotation is now ok.

    on my exprerience/experiment, to save more battery life, try setting cpu governor under cyanogenmod setting > performance > cpu setting > available governors -> choose "smartass"

    i get more battery life using smartass cpu governors setting

    i have a Orange Boston phone and i install that rom. All works very good and is stabil.I like very much how it loock.If icons for signal, wifi, batery etc. will be change with other more beautiful and expresive, this rom will be greait. And al little colors for menu icons i think will bgive a great loock at that rom.

    I installed this rom on my WellcoM A88 and it finds my wifi finds again the network. No problem with rotation. I been running for 2 day's now and I only 1 random reboot. Took it of the charger this moning with 3G on and not being used it consumed 10% battery life.

    i installed this on my Chinavasion Excalibur (A60),love it....but when the screen turns off and i turn back on, it just white screens and i have to pull battery and reboot, also cant update with v5.1 zip as it blanks screen also, so im stuck :-(

    Got it, went to recover mode, then wipe data/factory reset. Then reboot system and it works.

    Got ubuntu kernel installed using kernel manager and wifi tethering is working now. but still can't update to EA v5.1. One question, why I can't open recover mode anymore after installing Cyanogenmod?

    @talkii..i got same issue with u..after i flash and update rom for several time (from 2.1 until 2.3.4 eva3, suddently when i want to update this 2.3.5 rom using rom manager,it cant load recovery mode. im using manual (camera+volume up+power button) also cannot load. it restart and stuck on boot image and show "enter recovery mode" at top of screen..some 1 please help..and sory bad english.. ;)

    hi there, just a question, why i had falied to flash this custom rom to my MI 300? anyone got an idea on it? my MI 300 was currently original 2.2 rom, fih-fox type...anyone can help??pls....it is crashin my head for this few days...

    Hi guys.
    I am having some problems other ppl here have alos experienced.
    First i remember having had the problem with error code: 0x4000, not sure if the same code...
    them after rebooting it worked and the phone runs well.

    except that the screen turns off during a call and never gets back. phone aperas to be still running but all controls are dead.

    i have seen ppl blaming the proximity sensor for this, but also the firmware.

    is the proxy sensor included in thr display? if i change the display do i get a new proxy sensor as well?

    @Alexandru - the proximity sensor issue you are talking is the kernel/driver problem in CM7 based ROMS. You can cross check by flashing any 2.2 non CM kernel. Your proximity sensor should be kick-ass, if not then time to kick-the-ass of your sensor :)
