ReplyDeleteAevum Dicessio EAV4 only I had I pulled the root SD card .. through recovery and mod update .. I have no signal .. and I do not know the andglicky pretty:)
ReplyDeleteInstallation of SuperOSR v2.0.0 by Superteam Gingerbread 2.3.5:
ReplyDelete1. You should have any Phantom Froyo ROM(nb0) or Cyanogen 7 (nb0) or cyanogen 7 nightly already, if not, first flash it
2. Reboot into recovery mode (clockwork recovery)
3. Partition your sdcard with 256/512 EXT. DON’T create LINUX SWAP(select 0MB)
4. Restart
5. Copy SuperOSR zip to SD-card
6. Reboot into recovery
7. Select option to install zip from sdcard --> select SuperOSR zip
8. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
9. Reboot
10. Enjoy your 2.3.5 SuperOSR !
P.s. Now your Recovery will be in Spanish language. If you not ok with it then reflash your recovery with your liking
P.p.s Currently people are suspecting that creating Linux swap is causing the applications to fail to be moved to SD card. CML is looking into it.
And after installation of SuperOSR, partition your sd card once again like in step 3,. just to be sure..

ReplyDelete@12patulko12: For resolve no signal. First, you must be flash back rom official 2.1 - link: http://uploading.com/files/c4823459/Boston_Eclair_ORO_226D.zip/ . Then, your device must be root and install application newest version Rom Manager. Last, let's flash CyanogenMod versions by Recovery Mod or SUTL. That's all! Have fun! :)

@Lawliet - yes that step is needed for app2SD. But SuperOSR problem of "Failed to Move to sdcard" is happening if u create Linux Swap. Try setting 256MB EXT and 0MB swap. Hopefully it should work else need to wait for a fix for this inconsistency.

So, this kernel or the SuperAOSP better?
ReplyDeleteSuperAOSP -> wipe data, cache -> SuperOSR. No issues with upgrade or installation. Everything is working fine even the call end button to be working as expected (xt5). The only problem that I have is it shows "setup -> status -> Network" as "Unknown". Though it shows correct provider under notifications. Anyone knows why? It shows it fine when I activate 3G. Is this 3G only setting? Auto Brightness is still no good. Switched to manual brightness.

Problem since today morning:
ReplyDelete1. Menu button opening keyboard for custom launcher. Tried two different launchers like adw and goLauncher
2. Two clear button for notifications. One below notification did not work. I was playing with settings and not sure what activated two clear button.
Wiped data, cache via recovery and back to original state. Will keep trying different options.
@Vishal - that is a prob in CML kernel, which is inherent in AOSP, OSR and EA roms using cml kernel. Restart to get it fixed
ReplyDeleteworks fine with me however the camera issue is a consistent issue so I have to adjust the setting and it work just fine. in regard to no signal issue, i used to have that problem when i flashed the rom directly so i got the same result. what i did is that i flash bakpia kacang then i reboot to recovery to flash the osr zip and it works for me.

ReplyDeleteThis is the best rom! quadrant score 1079 while multitasking and 1175 after reboot.overclocked to 768.that's Max sadly. no need for a task killer till now. unlike other roms , this one been flawless n speedy throughout. ofcourse task killer would save loads of battery but without it it seems good enough. not had any lags till now. crashed later but I think its the problem with the dsp manager cuz it creates some pause like while playing.frozen it but no more crashes. n task killer would solve that too. cons:ugly bootscreen but that's changed:) . .you'd think you've changed phones after this rom cuz performance is very noticeable. camera n all been working.wifi works. thanks superteam.

i'll love toying with the CyanogenMod Nightlies and as of now i'm using 182 Build with CML Kernel Update and Fix.
FYI, my highest Quadrant Score is 1588..of course i overclocked it to 787 MHz and i'm not having any issues or problem with apps2sd DarkTremor, Supercharger Script and Loopy Smoothness Tweak.
please help..NO NETWORK & NO IMEI after installing it on cm7 build 173...m stuck.

ReplyDelete1. you are pushing the over clock to a very high level
2. your mobile phone is charging and you are using wifi at the same time for long duration
3. Some berserk app.
Also you might try testing when your phone heats up?: while browsing in wifi(common) or using the new market. I at times have faced the issue no. 2 while using the new market, it is also a little laggy for me. So have downgraded to v2.3.6
wi-fi not working on this one.. any fix for that?

ReplyDeleteThe ROM's performance is awesome but there are still unauthorized reboots but there are only less compare to v 2.0.0.
Battery is good so I can use it more that 24 hours with massive angry birds usage lol!

ReplyDeletethanks for the reply, but fyi, i never overclock over 729 because more than that, my fone will reboot on its own because the temp is too high and to keep my battery, i always off my fone when recharge,i dont think app berserk, because nothing wrong with my app
about market, i agree it a bit laggy, but i dont really care about it, what matter more is when i activate wifi while network still on, my fone start heating up. it also happen with 3g data enable is active. so the conclusion is i never us 3g on my fone and only browse with airplane mode on.

ReplyDelete@Jeian u must take ur phone to service. it looks like z71 has buggy camera hw :/ i read about more people on older roms wid this problem. flash stock rom into phone and go there... its only fix for it..
