For better result when flashing CM Rom:
- make sure your device stock rom is Android 2.1, not 2.2. otherwise you will not get GSM network/IMEI
- re-flash CM rom twice
- always wipe before and after flashing

it keep freezing here boot is fine just after 10 min then it keep freezing

but if hoping from CM to CM then there is no need for going back to Stock ROM, IMEI will always be remembered while updating

@aevum yes if u are currently using a working CM Rom, flashing new updated CM Rom will have no problem.
but if u are currently using stock 2.2 rom or even firetrap/phantom rom which based on stock 2.2 rom, when flashing CM Rom, mostly u will get network problem
