Hi there, I'm starting new topic to start this ICS porting development for FIH-F0X variant. calling all F0X developers to start develop this device this thread talk about build from CM9 source but I've AOSP project before that I use it to port the touchscreen driver this is history of the release *for demonstration only* AOSP build 05022012 then flash this kernel fix > working touchscreen driver and softkey 02022012 > partially working touchscreen driver, softkey not working *for demonstration only* #PLEASE DON'T MIRROR THESE FILES# not working: - RIL - graphic - sdcard - call/sms - bluetooth - wifi - mic - video - audio - headset - gps - auto rotation sensor - proximity sensor - etc and i think almost all features not working so don't give me a protest about it, and I'll begin the CM9 build from here, maybe cyanogenmod team not support this phone to cm9 as lack of hardware. so so if you have idea to this device please post in here problem: > system partition was too small ~160MB this are my files touchscreen driver : forum.andro-id.net/f0x_system...ant_235.0.html

[App]New Android Market 3.3.11

It appears an update to the Android Market is now being pushed out to handsets, and we've got the .apk file for you right now. Warning: this updated Market does not seem to work very well on Honeycomb tablets, there appears to be a number of glitches.

Change Log
New setting: Auto-update apps (presumably, sets all apps to auto-update mode, woohoo!)
New setting: Update over Wi-Fi only
New setting: Auto-add shortcuts (automatically adds homescreen shortcuts for new apps, ala Honeycomb)

Procedure to install via CWM Recovery

According to popular requests, I made a flashable version of the new Market 3.3.11 . This will solve all the installation issues.
1. Download the Flashable zip file Market3311-signed.zip
2. Do a Nandroid Backup.
3. Reboot into Recovery & Flash the zip
4. Now reboot & enjoy.......

[Apps] Dialer One Brings Smart Search, Speed Dial to the Android Dialer Screen

If the default Android dialer feels a bit too bare for you, dialer replacement Dialer One should make you happy, easing phone calls with speed dial features, a smart T9 search feature, and call log filtering.

The stock dialer isn't bad, per se, but if you're used to HTC Sense's dialer (or, for that matter, a dialer from a different OS) you may be missing some of your favorite features. Dialer One brings some nice time-saving tricks to your phone's dialer, so you don't have to keep rooting around your Contacts or Call Log page. For example, when you start typing on the dialer, it will automatically narrow down choices from your contacts and recently called numbers. You can either start typing a number or their name (using the letters that correspond to each number), and then just tap the desired contact when it pops up. It's also got a speed dial feature, for assigning contacts to one number on the dialer, and more advanced call log filters, so you can narrow down recent calls by incoming, outgoing, or missed. You can also change its appearance to fit your tastes.

"Calibration needs to be done after flashing a new ROM. This program does it by removing the batterystats.bin system file. The OS generates a new clean batterystats file soon, does any fake information from the previous ROM is removed.
It's suggested, but not necessary, to let the phone fully discharge after calibration, then charged to 100% without break."

The app shows your actual battery status, and only allows you to start the calibration (i.e. removes the file) when it's fully charged.

It is shown that NDS WILL be played some days on android phone, maybe 2012 or later

WHAT IS NEXT WORK (Huge efforts)

2. Dynarec CPU simulation
3. GPU simualtion improvement for speed greatly.
4. Hareware render (eg, OpenGL ES)
5. FPU. Since NDS need lots of float calculation. FPU can improvement performance greatly. Later ARM will have FPU in feature

If you do not have a high-end phone, do not try NDS game. Even if you have a high-end phone, just try some small games(none 3D) but it is also quite slow.
How to demo (not play) NDS game

1. Put your nds ROM files to /roms/nds folder in sdcard.

Note. zip nds rom is not supported, you shall extract them to be *.nds files

2. Launch TigerNDS which will load those NDS roms in game list

3. Select one game and play

It is just DEMO and speed is very very very very slow even on high-end phones. You shall not expect to play nds game with the emulator.
