Anyone Having HomeScreen Redraw problem? Like LauncherPro takes 15-20 seconds to load things on homescreen after using any moderate or heavy app..? I did.. Not anymore!
Try this

http://androidnexus.com/guides/fix-home-screen-redraw-lag-in-launcherpro-and-adw-launcher

I had this problem and it was so annoying.. After I did the above, it's been 3 days and I have not had a single redraw! I'm so so happy now! I like my phone! I have LauncherPro with 7 homescreens and widgets on all homescreens on my Spice MI 300 having Phantom Sky Revolution v1.(loaded with more than 100 apps)

I've disabled "Keep in Memory" option in launcherPro preferences and using "Light" Memory Usage Preset..

Admins of this blog: You can consider putting that article as a separate Post. :) It'll be helpful for many.

Thanks and regards,
Nakul.

@syidisma:
My advice will be: If you want to use your phone to the fullest.. I mean, if you don't want to flash different ROMs but use your phone properly for what purpose you bought it in the first place, then use this ROM

http://boston-mania.blogspot.com/2011/05/froyo-phantom-sky-revolution-v1.html

For now, I feel it's the best stable one.I've tried many ROMs.
I'm using this one and I'm loving it.That's because I don't want to flash a new ROM and find out that it's very buggy(restarts, freezes, laggy etc).I know ROMs will be having bugs initially (But I don't want to test them myself anymore :P ) Instead I'd want a reliable, stable ROM. So, I use Phantom Sky Revolution. I know it's Froyo and not Gingerbread but I'm ready to wait because I'm not more into testing a ROM and right now no gingerbread ROM for this phone seems completely stable.. :)

@Mario,Martin:
I failed to mention in my earlier post that apart from the steps taken from that article to prevent LaunchePro redraw, there's one more thing I had done.
I use "AutoKiller Memory Optimizer" and set the preset to Strict.
And I've tested this out myself on my phone. Using Moderate or Optimum doesn't seem to work. I used to get redraws initially and also 3d games were lagging even after doing those changes told in the post through terminal. All this stopped after a combination of that change + "Strict" Preset from Autokiller memory optimizer.. :) Now no lags in 3d games :) Try it out and see if it works for you :) and if possible, let me know :)

SuperAOSP 8.6 2.6.32.9-AW-kernel is causing a problem : cannot mount USB storage.
I'm using RC kernel instead, it still gives me 2 days top.
