CyanogenMod6 for Boston Rom 2.2 Build21

How to upgrade from Rom 2.1 to Rom 2.2:
1) Install the Oficial ROM 226D using the TOOLS (RUT or SUT)
2) Get the "RomManager" app from market or download here
3) In "RomManager" select "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery"
4) Select "Commtiva Z71" phone (compatible with Boston and clones)
5) Copy the rom cm_z71_full-xx.zip and the  Google Apps zip file to sdcard
6) In "RomManager" select "Install ROM from sdcard" and choose the Rom file
7) Select "Install ROM from sdcard" and choose the Google Apps zip file
8) Reboot in Recovery Mode (camera+vol up+power)
9) Wipe All phone data
10) You could enjoy Froyo :)

could somebody write what bugs are repaired?? And what about changes?? Becouse page www.androitpt.com wants register user, and i don´t know portugeese.........:-( :-( And if i install this, is possible to downgrade back to 2.1 Eclair?? Becouse of warranty, in my country we don´t have oficial 2.2, and in warranty they will want oficial ROM for mobile phone Boston, if i give it sometime to warranty servis. Thanks.

yes u can downgrade to eclair or 1.6 fw

re-original before bring phone to care service.

and how i can downgrade? Classical way, via RUT or SUT? Or something more difficult?? What way of downgrade I have to use?? Could somebody write steps, how downgrade? Becouse if it will be difficult, I will wait for oficial Orange 2.2 Rom (may be, it will take long time).

You you wanna change your rom to 16 or 2.1, do not forget to change the recovery. And i think, if you do not know how to change that, do not try upgrade to froyo.

The downgrade process is pretty easy if you are comfortable with flashing images.
What I did was flashed the original recovery image, which had "flash .nb0" option, then using this flashed firetrap vanilla 1.2
Then used the SUT, which came with my Spice Mi300 to flash the official 2.1 ROM.
