How to upgrade from Rom 2.1 to Rom 2.2:
1) Install the Oficial ROM 226D using the TOOLS (RUT or SUT)
2) Get the "RomManager" app from market or download here
3) In "RomManager" select "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery"
4) Select "Commtiva Z71" phone (compatible with Boston and clones)
5) Copy the rom cm_z71_full-xx.zip and the Google Apps zip file to sdcard
6) In "RomManager" select "Install ROM from sdcard" and choose the Rom file
7) Select "Install ROM from sdcard" and choose the Google Apps zip file
8) Reboot in Recovery Mode (camera+vol up+power)
9) Wipe All phone data
10) You could enjoy Froyo :)

i put this on my boston...and the first thing that i did is to see what kernel has...is the same 35...that means the battery will not last more...so know i had installed the apanda A02 version from the official apanda site and the kernel is 32...is very stable and i hpe the battery will be better

since u cant no longer use SUT, how did u remove clockrecoverymod to reinstall (i assume!) apanda oficial version?
u can put phone in download mode and use rut to put official rom and recovery

i said "reinstall apanda oficial version" so i meant to leave cyanogen back to the shelf...i have too many sd card, wi-fi, gps problems to stay within cyanogen.
apanda official rom can be installed with SUT 1.7.0 because has an .nbo extension...

when u use clockworkrecovery,SUT or RUT is no longer recognise by recovery mode of terminal. at least on my phone

yea some issues with 2.2 i personally seem to have mostly better luck with 2.3's nightly build up to build 9 for what i need
