Build #34 is a go.
GSM, Mobile data works fine. Battery performance similar to Build #28. Initially animations were getting stuck but after an hour of usage, all working smooth.
Headsets still don't work. Call mute working.
Am not good with benchmarking so I leave it to the experts.
No restarts or hangs yet after 3hrs of continuous usage.
Wifi portable hotspot working.
No SD card issues that I have faced yet.
Note: Please use the new google apps given above. If upgrading from non-CM roms please go back to Stock rom then flash CM. If any wi-fi errors and all then flash twice as @Sammy said.
the volume suddenly "blast" after executing TuneIn radio via headphone, even reducing media volume don`t fix it
Can anyone help with my sim card network problem ? After i flash it , it sim like my current sim card doesnt work on my phone . But my sim was working well in other phone and working well using other sim card on my phone . Only current simcard doesnt work . Can anyone help me to solve it ?
Camera 360 and NFS are still not working with Spice MI-300 and this rom. Several reboot automatically and FC as well.
quadrant 880 /full working/, canera 360 is full working too - u must turn off AUTOFOCUS...
/Orange Boston has fixed focus/, no FC or freeze till now
downloading
KiraCEW: Check to see if you have an IMEI listed. It's probably disappeared and you need to use SUT to flash a stock ROM. That's what I've found with other ROMS.
just had my first freeze. not a good sign
Proximity Sensor is not working in my Spice MI 300
Basic function just finem however sometime first three or four hour in randomly will completely freeze by attempt to wakeup it frm sleep -mi300
Stable build, battery life ok, about 2 days
nice build. nice battery life.
how to disable auto foucus
my battery in XT502 after going below 50% reaches 0% in no time. This prob is inherent since my stock ROM. Is there any cure? Can anyone help me o this?
dspmanager crash after headset being plug-in
@ ALL that says around 2 days battery life with normal usage... on what type of phone? On Boston with no usage at all, in 8 hrs eat up 28% of battery? From this results 1 day and 5 hours with no usage at all or under a day with some usage. Cyanogen have the same problem still Froyo. Battery life sucks! Every thing else works like a charm and super fast but BATTERY is BAD!
my sd card corrupt because of this build
now #35, #36
any noticeable changes in these builds?
Not moving from build #28/33 till any major changes appear in the change-log.
WellcoM A88: went back to stock rom 2.1 and 2.2 and then tried (multiple times from both roms) to update to build 34 and 35, but everytime no service, no imei, SD card problems, wifi problems.
Went again to stock rom 2.2 and updated to firetrap JellyBean 2.2.1 and everything works and no SD card problems for 4 hours now.
To bad.
Will try another time.
Thanks for all the hard work.
@RichyE
Goto the spice website and download the update tool for the mi300, when you install the update tool it copies a .nb0 file into the program directory, copy that somewhere else and update with SUT..after that u'll have to root again and install clockwork but you should have ur imei back when you install CM7 or similar.
how can I let my device work with overclock 806 mhz. its kee freezing
Thanks Michael wil try it this weekend
SD Card issue un-resolved.Cyanogen team should atleast provide a solution of HOWTO fix ...
I had Phantom v2 on my A88 and liked it except it did not acknowledge SMS properly to the system and I got multiple copies of SMS; so I decided to try this build of CM7. I reverted back to stock Wellcom 2.1 first using SUT and then rooted the phone using Universal Androot. Installed ROM Manager and installed Clockwork Recovery. Then rebooted to recovery, did a factory reset, installed build 34 of CM7 and then reboot again and installed GAPPS. Everything is working fine, but as one person noted above trying to overclock the device to 806 Mhz results in the phone locking up. So I would advise just running it at 600 Mhz and it works fine. Foxconn had stability issues on 2.1 running 600 Mhz and that is why most official ROMs are running only 480 Mhz. Getting a new stable ROM at 600 Mhz is good enough for me. Also SMS acknowledgment is working properly again. So far so good on this ROM. I like Gingerbread so far. The nicest thing was the Market automatically reinstalls all your apps for you -- what a great feature!
if phone status locked , wifi tether clients has been disconnect ..
any some got problem ?
lol this is already what 3 versions behind by 3am it will be 4
there isnt much point posting every single nightly build...there doesnt seem to have been any major difference with the recent builds anyway.
how can i stop the screen from going asleep during call with proximity sensor active?
fingers crossed but looks like some1 finally fixed the battery drain stuff... all the builds now showing much better battery performance considering the fact that our models were originally meant for android 1.6/2.1
can someone pls tell me how to stop the screen time out during call because the keep screen awake is not enough for me and i realy hate pushing track ball then red just to end a call pls someone help me !!! :D 10x in advance
@filip how about ending the call with the power button from the accessibility option?
it is just a thing of discomfort and i prefer the power button to just shut down the display + i think that it is intuitive to use red button to end calls (BTW i was just wandering if it is possible, if maybe i did not figure it out yet, if there is no such setting i guess power button will do :)) )
is this a prob with me or everyone, all my pics and songs are gone after restarting the phone...they are there in the sd card and i can acces them from there but can not acces them from the gallery or the music player....plzzhelp
