When will we get a stable 2.3 ROM in nb0 format? I am using the 2.3.3 one but it is not supporting 8 GB card.

flashing this rom now...
last one try build 18, and flash superaosp boot.img, loss about 15% in 12 hours, much more significant than before. let's hope this build better

@neelab so is it 8GB size making the card problems ?? btw just wait and dont push these ppl .. atleast cos of cyanogen and whole team ..we have some development happening. not many brands have got 2.3 rom ... i say they are getting better better each day.. just try each release and post the feedback..it would help them

could some one pls post a list of checks every user supposed to do .. i feel that would be better for those who are just trying testing these roms :) thanks ..forgive if its a stupid idea :)

I think this build is great, no more SD card problem, no lag and the battery is improved...very very good! :)

I cannot flash this using Clockwork Recovery 2.5.1.3 . I got the Cyanogen boot screen for about a minute and screen just turns black
Do I need recovery version 3.0.5 ?? If so, please advise me link to download this. Thanks

@Benny Lee: I also flash it using 2.5.1.3...no problem. What's the version of GAPPS that you use? if not gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip, then you should change it. Hope it helps you...

Stingjoel : thanks. I did not flash the gapps yet. I was thinking to do it only later as I could always download it from market . Do I need to flash this file first ? Maybe this is the mistake
So I would need to flash both files simultaneously ?
Thanks

@Benny Lee: just flash the gapps first, then flash the ROM....don't forget to wipe cache & user data (IMHO, it's necessary, because it can be a problem).

OK, successfully flash it. TQ

Works ok. Battery lifetime around 24h, around 2h of usage.

I currently using mi300

performace is good , battery life full change since 10 am , and now 9.15 pm still left 54 % . Only use for few sms and calls . most of the time is idle .

@ZAILER I have switched back to a XT502 2.2 ROM. that 2.3.3 nb0 was great but SD card was really a problem.

I dont think I could update to this ROM with clockworkmod. I have screwed my stock rom backup and this will certainly lead to losing my IMEI number. I will wait for a kinda stable SD card supporting nb0 release of 2.3 ROM

for those with sd card problem, maybe its related to ur sd card/ phone model.
coz so far my phone never have any sd card problem.. ever since the early day of CM7 ROM
using CSL Spice Mi 300
Kingston 8GB Class 4

latest CM7 rom is very good..
lots of improvement in battery life

Hi, lots of people said the battery has really improve, can someone tell me how much battery need to take about 1 hour idle, with internet data off. if 1 hour only need 1% battery, this will be a good ROM :)

please

Stingjoel said...

@Arthur Siwan: how about the other settings? because it will affect the battery life...like: GPS on/off, numbers of application running in the background, etc.
From my experience, before this ROM, I never get 100% battery status in MORE than 10 minutes when standby (GPS ON, Data 2G/3G and some app. running in the background)

I have tried the battery life with data 2G/3G off, 1% battery it's around 40 minutes or more.
lots of improvement, cyanogen mod used to use 1% battery every 20 mins.

even though the battery really improve, but still worse than Andro-ID brem or phantom, I change back to Andro_id brem or phantom :)
