[APP] Google Maps 5.2.1 Ownhere- FREE NAVIGATION ANYWHERE



You Don't Live in USA and So you can't use the Google Navigation and Google Voice....BUT THE THINGS ARE CHANGING

As some people dare to challenge the GOOGLE and Hack its APPS so that they can be used anywhere in the WORLD

This Time We have come with an app mod that you will always remember...Yes you heard that right...

GOOGLE MAPS HAS BEEN HACKED TO PROVIDE FREE NAVIGATION THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

That means anybody can use free navigation anywhere on this earth



Google Maps 5.2.1 is Developed by some chinese website (They call themselves ownhere) to provide free navigation anywhere on the earth by unlocking the GOOGLE NAVIGATION

HOW TO INSTALL :

Google maps is a SYSTEM APP so you have to first Unistall the Official Version

Here are the Steps :

1. In Titanium Backup, select Maps and make a backup.

2. Select Maps and wipe data, then uninstall.

3. Select Street View and wipe data, then uninstall

4. Install Google Maps 5.2.1 ownhere-resign.apk

5. Go to market, and reinstall street view.

AND BAZINGAA !!!!

Its works for me. Running Phantom King rev2 on Motorola XT3. Here are the instructions and link to the thread in XDA

Instructions:
1. Wipe cache and Uninstall Maps and StreetView using Titanium Backup.

2. Using Root Explorer, copy maps5.2.1-ownhere.apk to /system/app.
Forget the resign one (never worked for me)

3. Hold maps5.2.1-ownhere.apk for further options and choose Permissions.

4. Uncheck the entire Execute Column, and uncheck the second option in Write column.

Example:
Read-------Write-------Execute
-o-----------o------------x-
-o-----------x------------x-
-o-----------x------------x-

5. Reboot the phone.

5. Done.. Now you should have Maps in the App Drawer.

@Varun i just realize a few days ago i installed Google Maps 5.3 as an update and that's what i uninstalled but after i repeated the procedure everything is working fine eve though i couldn't find Street View on market due to compatibility issues but thanks to applanet,

do you have to be online or have any kind of data connection to use the maps, or the maps can be use offline?
