@ozgurkan - wat?? u gotta be kidding, cyanogen battery sucks hell, if u don't believe just go through any post in this blog regarding cyanogen. Battery is somewhat normal in cyanogen if u flash the other 2.3 kernel. Check things yourself if u wish :) - anyway, flash this ROM u won't regret :) .. am not any dev or test in phantom's team, just a "flashmaniac" and i prefer this as base
i was being ironic to Aevum Dicessio who said i am stupid(not knowing phantom battery autonomy) and making an irony to cyanogen because some people say that cyanogen mod has a good battery life, which of course is false.
i'm trying phantom but i get notifications in spanish which is quite annoying...
P.S - sorry for the comment , i respect your work and i hope will fix all the bugs so that u can create the optimum custom ROM.
Besides the notifications , everything looks ok. the rom is pretty fast and stable. Checking battery now.

There was several startup optimizations, now all languages are fully translated (hun and ro wasn't before). And now you can enable / disable system applications. And this is all i have to tell you :)

I was very confused, why do you make a rom there is always a rev1 rev2, beta1, beta2 Beta3 a, b, c and blablabla. What are you deliberately made like this and hard work on and make other people? almost every day there are always improvements. but yesterday was out with stable evolution, there are rev1 and blablabla, really very tired

Accessibility services when disabled doesn't seem to run. Same for keyboards.

i went to that site and used sl4ato read the barcode and it successfully read the script.
but when i run the script in terminal, it says error 404: file not found.

@Tarun - shouldn't happen, try deleting that script from that folder, rescan and get the file. Click on the file and select the first one on left to run in the terminal, should work. And make sure SL4A has superuser permission.

@Tarun - it happened to me too, contacts have to be resynced, dont worry , its some fault in the update code i guess. I didnt post here coz I thought some wrong step at my end only lol
If app2sd don't work, please type in android terminal emulator this:
chmod 755 /system/etc/init.d/*

ext is hidden partition in sdcard. use to store application.. meaning that the application installed will go to ext partition not phone memory..
there no problem with ext4. but, we concern about the rom backup. if using clockworkmod recovery, ext4 cannot be read. clockworkmod only support ext2 and ext3...

Im new to the android, but already using CM7 for the past 2 weeks...

If you have problems... Flash 2.1 rom official rom and then, install this using sultr (clean user data option enabled). At end do a master reset and you will e fine.

The best 2.2 ROM I've seen thus far. I was using Androi-ID Brem before this, and that was a very good ROM as well (superb battery life by undervolting), but it had certain issues. This ROM eliminates all those, has the UI to my liking, and matches it in battery life. Everything just works, and I don't know why most people here keep getting stuck on their boot screens. It's the process of flashing roms and zip files that's the reason, and the way you go about it, not the ROM. If you flash a lot of ROMs, boot-loops are a part of your life. Innumerable methods to get around them, depending on how you got there.
Anyhow, superb job Phantom! Bit by bit, you've done all that could be done on this one. And the nb0 of the final version is just sweet, unlike CM7, where I would first flash stock f/w, then CM nb0, then the latest update.
I flashed the correct splash image. My Wellcom a88 is good, it has correct boot screen. Thanks Phantom very much.

Try to rename it to splash.img and place it in sdcard.
Then open android terminal and input this commands
su
flash_image splash /sdcard/splash.img
If it works, good, if not and you get out of memory errors, nothing bad will happen (i tryed).

Framework is compatible with stock /OTA mdpi themes.
You can find some at galaxy spica forums and other mdpi devices.
There are also many methamorph guides at xda.
What you have to do? Example: for battery, copy framework-res.apk to you pc and unzip it. Inside res\drawable-mdpi you will find all images that can be replaced.
Busyness is easy: you can replace them by new, just be sure that you don't compress it (0 compression level). You can replace by hand or just download some methamorph theme, replace things and apply it.

bro, sometime i got problem with this..
1. Wireless - need time to switch on the wifi, sometime it stuck when want to activate or deactivate.
2. Activate USB data transfer - after switching on the data transfer, it failed to mount the sdcard. It keep trying to mount but failed.
Both the problem fixed after restart. But, after long use, it will occur again.. Just reporting..
Can somebody using this ROM post the battery life info such as 80% battery remaining after 10 hours of use with 3G always on.
Battery life is one of the longest. I tryed a lot of roms, but Phantom has really good battery life.

i felt the media volume lil bit smaller when it's plugged into external speaker (divoom, highest volume, still didn't beat).
so i found this dsp manager from CM then i flashed it.
seemed it worked but then i knew it's just installed, didn't work.

@GKR - there is no small "magic" for 1% battery, it requires changing kernel core and things might get messy

I am facing problem regarding battery.today my battery drop down from 50 to 15 % in just 15 minutes.battery consumption is very low when phone is in standby mode but when i use it for gaming,internet or even just reading ebooks or installing some apps from sdcard battery drain much quickly.
i don't feel this kind of problem is in phantom evaluation.

This is a cheap smartphone! phantom evo is the best regarding battery life so if u install other rom, your battery will drain even faster :)
ya i might be wrong or the problem is due to some apps like widget locker in my phone but i want to know is there any difference between rev3b or first version of phantom evolution apart from interface.
I have some problem with the ringtones. Not every ringtone repeats itself. It rings once and then nothing. Is this happening just to me or is a more spread phenomenon?
And like someone else told before, please make the sound louder, I barely hear the phone from my pocket.

all the gameloft games that can run on LG optimus one (p500) like assassins creed, Gangstar West Coast Hustle , hero of sparta, asphalt5 etc. are working fine on F0X-3230-0-0002-A02 and FiretrapTwoNights221 roms but except 2 or 3 games most of them are not working in this rom.

to update launcher pro, open root explorer, go to system/app and delete the launcherpro apk. reboot, and now you can update it.
@Gabriel... you can disable launcher pro in rom customization reboot and install it from market...
If you remove your default laucher you will have headache.

Hi! Congratulations for this amazing ROM! I'm lovin it, but i'm having an issue that i don't know how to fix it... I set my Boston to Flight Mode ON at night, and at morning, when i set it to OFF, i can't send SMS and i receive a messagem from the telco operator saying the Message Center Number is not set! Any tip how to solve this? Thanks in advance!

I saw that Phantom Evolution Rev4b is also available. Have anyone tried?
I used Rev3b which has a GREAT battery life. Then I moved to Rev4a and noticed that battery is not such good like I had for Rev3b.
Now, I'm not sure if it worth to proceed with moving to Rev4b, or not.
Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!
im not sure about this flash two times for PE rev4b but facing this problem..
battery cannot last longer because when im using the rev4b, there got system process eats a lot cpu. every time using it, always show 600MHz.
Already configure using setcpu. there no help when using the phone but, can save when turn the light off to low processor speed.
I revert back to rev4a. everything ok..

I'm using Rev4b right now. Everything runs smoothly,great on battery and stability. Could you help me to add wifi connect to adhoc connection? coz i needed for download data for the games. In revb didnt see any adhoc connection. Thanks for your great roms....
